I didn’t touch it, and I’m not sure anyone else did, but it’s good to see the spirit of change is alive and well in the canteen of Cambridge’s Cavendish Laboratory. On the menu today was Lamb Chop Reform. I’m not quite sure what to make of this… but I can’t help but see the hand of the modernisers campaigning for reform of lamb chops!
I later discovered that Lamb Chop Reform was invented at the Reform Club, and refers to a style of cooking the chops and serving them in a thick and slightly fruity sauce…
